Not any car builder: it tends to be (relatively) lightweight 2-seaters, that offer a high performance:cost ratio at whatever level.
But is that necessarily a bad thing?

I think most of us spend more than we care to admit to on a build, especially not admit to the other half
However this is a Hobby, and a lot find the build process more enjoyable than actually driving the finished product.
I spent the best part of 13 years building the MK, and although £13000 seems a lot of money, taken on a weekly basis, it isn't that much, much
less than I would have spent if I was a smoker, for instance.
