Shogun non starter...
My 2.5td Sport (02 reg) refused to start this morning.
The car is parked on a hill like drive and has took a couple of goes lately. Starting on the flat or pointing downhill has been OK.
Glow plug light comes on and goes out as normal but it just churns over and over.
Over thing is I've recently been using bio diesel but have been back on the dyno stuff for a couple months now.
I've just changed the fuel filter, the old one was a bit brown inside.. do I need to bleed it as its still refusing?
Any advise on what to check?
Cheers,
Steve

1/4 tank, old fuel filter only half full and dirty.
New filter on, hand pump on top not pulling so I ripped the pipe off the housing and sucked it through, pumped the housing till derv was coming out
the bleed, bunged me start boost box on and off she goes!
I suspects a filter blockage caused by using bio.

I'd suspect an air leak in the diaphragm in the bleed pump. Seen it before when a filter has been changed. When parked uphill is enough to let
the fuel flow back to the tank and draw air.
