1986 Mini 1380 supercharged

Im selling my litle toy due to time restrains as a little one is on the way and the kit car is my other toy sat in the garage. Once the nipper is here my time will be in short supply changing nappies with be taking up much of my time.

Any way I am selling my mint 1380 SC mini. Basically the engine and car has done about 500miles since the build. All suspension has been stripped and rebuild with new bushes bearings. The engine is built using parts from MED, omega pistons, striaght cut drops, 4pin diff, low comp ported head. knife edged and wedged Lightend crank, balanced. The list goes on..... Microsquirt ecu. front mount rad and fan, electric water pump, lightweight alternator, bucket seats bit tatty as the mice have had a nibble, 3point harness new just before MOT. Maniflow manifold and playmini side exit. Spax with coilsprings to replace doughnuts. 13x7 with yoko tyres brandnew done 500miles.

No MOT but would fly through MOT and was mot'd and run all last summer. Been under cover since. The mapping needs completing due to the fuel pump failing on the rollers (new pump fitted now). Fuel map is just about there ignition needs attension. Does drive but is on a very conservative ignition map and has more power to come. It is around 100bhp 130ft/lb as it is(print out). Should see around 120bhp and 140ft/lb approx. I will MOT if needed at cost, but would far easier for me for buyer to trailer or whatever.

Im sure some of you are aware what the parts alone are worth

£4000 best to email me m1kemph@aol.com

Here is couple of pics

Nice car, personally think you would open your market up if you offered it with 12 months MOT. Most buyers don't want the uncertainty or hassle of MOT ing a new purchase.

Good Luck with the sale

Al.

most certainly will help, I would love it if I had the money, I always wanted another mini, either with bike engine or something fancy like this, but wouldnt spend £4k on a car with no MOT

great looking little sleeper, wish I had some money

heavy is good, heavy is reliable, and if it breaks, hit them with it
