compressor oil level

hi I have a Rockworth v twin compressor and have lost the dipstick whilst moving house any idea what the oil level should be. I would post a pic but can't remember how.

Mine sits level with the crank mains, not a Rockwell, but they depend on splash lube so will be similar.

Do you have a handbook for it? Does it give the oil capacity? Drain and refill to the correct volume then make a dipstick to suit?

Can you buy a new dip stick for it?
