Long term lurker/occasional builder

Alas I've done what I do every few years, finish a current project look around at what's next and then contemplate my stylus.

As my other half is slowly turning me into a finisher completer I find myself asking a question, Finish it or set it free?

Is there much of a following for the stylus these days? I'm fully aware the pile of bits is worth more than the complete car but it'd be a shame to kill it for the relatively meagre pile of money it represents..

There seems to be a bit more enthusiasm for them recently. There's recently been a face book group created for owners, which seems to be getting a bit of traffic. The photos are certainly encouraging me!

I'm hoping to have mine on the road by the end of this year.

As you say, it would be a shame to break it up. How far had you got with it?

Hola WonderfulWeasel,

I've driven the sodding thing believe it or not!

It needs:

A handbrake mechanism that works
Rear lights wiring and a bootlid solution
Better fuel tank
Headlight securing system
Interior panels fitting
new harnesses
new tyres
paint
IVA

I got it that far 2 years ago and it's sat whilst i restored a fiat 127 and a lancia beta..

I've been given a fix it or flog it ultimatum so to that end I phone the guys at RAW this morning...
