What a shame, but perhaps not unsurprising following the earlier retirement of Sylva founder, ace designer and driving force, Jeremy Phillips. Also
the kit car market I expect has changed dramatically over the decades from availability of interesting second hand production sports cars,
availability of donors plus whether people still have the inclination and skills, time, money and garage space to source parts, get dirty and build
cars as well as scrap yards (sorry, salvage yards of car recycling centres) changing dramatically since the mid 1980s in terms of ability of the
punter to clamber about to find and remove parts themselves.
Sylva - underrated classics.
