Striker seat ideas
Looking at new seats for the Striker.
What are the most common that everyone is using as its pretty snug in there.
Have people opted to the bench idea to give more space?

Most go for the standard bench type or high back grp type from JK Composites.
The bench seat is fine but you need more support for track driving. I had a bench seat for a few years but changed it to JK and the difference when
driving on track was amazing. I no longer had to brace myself when driving, didn't realise how much I was doing that.
JK do a specific size for the Striker but others are available including from the new owners of the Striker project, MK.
The other option is a low back seat, like a go-kart seat with a separate head rest mounted on the roll over bar.

Yes, I do have little seats (not full bucket seats) and there is padding on the roll bar. I wanted to tidy it up.
I'll look at the seats from jk but I imagine there aren't cheap...nothing is unfortunately!!

JK are here http://www.jkcomposites.com/sevens/ but they can be very difficult to get hold of.
MK have this now listed http://www.kitcardirect.co.uk/fibre-glass-grp-narrow-high-back-seat-shell-caterham-striker-version.html I don't know
anyone that has used them yet.

Thanks Peter.
I've sent JK an email to see what they have to offer but I feel new seats maybe out of my budget unfortunately.

If budget is an issue then these wont help - but Tillet do striker sized GRP seat.

Budget option is the bench seat that a lot of factory strikers had.

Bit of Hardboard, Foam, Vinyl and glue and make your own.

JK products are great and proven in many Strikers....but I did say contact can be an issue. Some seem to get straight through and have no issues,
others the complete opposite! I have fitted two sets now in two different Strikers and never had any issues with the seats or fitting them.
Do the Luso seats fit a Striker? They are very narrow, smaller than any other car I have every looked at including all the other 7's and
anything else from the JP stable.
