I'm going from near the leicester / nottingham `border` on sat afternoon

Planning to go over Sat to arrive mid day

I will be going from Manchester late afternoon. If its not raining small animals

there are a couple of us going but i dont know what time yet, claire where abouts are you, closer to notts or leicester?

I'm in Coalville - right between J22/M1 and the A42 .

Im also hoping to make it down on the saturday.
- Group from WSCC are having a bit of a run from ashby tescos, meeting around 9ish.

there are quite afew of us now but we are leaving from different places and times, do you think we could slightly alter routes and times and all meet up for a decent size convoy, what do you reckon?

Having a small tank and a big engine means I will be stopping at Leicester forest east services for a cup of tea and some petrol.

Then off down the M69 , A46 and then round the airport and Baginton down to the show.

Just to make doubly sure - Saturday is for pre-show camping only. The show itself is Sunday/Monday.

thats right, i normally go down on saterday, its makes it a more relaxing time, also 1 exta night on the beers

I have to say im very tempted to go down sat.
- I would to get in a night of it, but cant justify the monday away from uni, or to be honest, any more than just the day.

how about this for a plan, what if we met at forest east services at 1.00, if Ash wants we could both travel down from lincoln in a mini convoy, leaving at 12. Paul can meet us at the sevices and if we can convince Claire to leave earlier we could have a convoy, what do you reckon?

Looks a nicer route, but as my car is packed full of camping stuff and gezebo etc I plan to take it easy along the motorway. If it was empty then a spirited run would be more fun but as its very heavy then dont want to push it too much.
