Been stainless for years.
However proper stainless is brittle so most stainles used for chassis will have an element of ferous in it and therefore will rust less. The welds
even when stainless welding rods are used will not be stainless and people tend to cover them with PU to stop them rusting.
Mine is all slainless (book built) no problems what so ever as long as you purge welds from the back of weld, this stops coaking and makes the weld 3 times as strong as if you dont.
