Thought I would share some build pictures. I have to get the car ready for an iva as it was built and registered in guernsey.
If anyone can see anything that I will need to do please let me know
New hi-spec calipers
New rear brakes with powder coated yokes
Dash all working now with gear indicator
New stupidly expensive fuel cap
Baffle plate fitted, with working oil light now
I still have this mess to sort out
Covered steering rack
Thanks

Those gold pro race wheels go so well with the red and white, nice build
you will need to extend the front inicators & cover your nuts
clocks edges too

Nuts are all covered. In the process of doing front indicators
Drivers seat, sorry someone was going to say it so might as well be me lovely looking car though.
Oh, you are joking? I was gonna sit on a milk crate to save weight

Great colour scheme reminds me of my younger days riding bikes
The pipe lagging may not be accepted
The front guards probably need edge trimming
Nice colours as said
Looks nice, but what does the "L" on the gear indicator stand for?
Not sure, shows L when in neutral
Looking good.
I watched the ad' on Pistonheads. Very distinctive colour scheme and it occurred to me that there can't be many Indys on Guernsey!
I got the (mistaken) impression it was a completed 'driveaway' with nothing to do.
Enjoy !
For the seller there was nothing to do and I drove it home which was great fun. The speedo did not work, oil light was on and when I got home the rear Calipers were seized on. I then saw your car and sold my aero screen, fuel cap and harnesses, new Calipers all round and fixed all the problems. In guernsey you can just build anything and they give you a log book without even seeing it
Done a bit more on the car
After 4 months waiting I finally got my aero screen
Arch trim fitted along with side repeaters
Rear fog light and reverse light fitted
Water system all working now and I used my plumbing skills and made it all from copper tube. Also moved the header tank to under the nose cone
A small video

Thanks

You have made a nice job of the copper pipe, but I think it could do with painting black, copper pipes only look good on steam engines
fantastic looking indy! what a great idea using the yamaha colour scheme . Good luck with the iva too
I really want an alloy rad so once the car is on the road I will then buy one and have to change the pipes so will powder coat then
Couple of iva questions
Does anybody know if you have to have a key to start the car as this is just on a button?
Can my indicators just be on on/off buttons on the dash?
Thanks
You will need to put some mesh grille infront of the MK grille. That's an adjustment I had to do test day.
Other than that your car looks awesome.
Lovely looking Indy
The seller told me via e-mail it would just need transferring onto british number plates!!!
