Hello to all builders,

I'm currently working on a Street legal Chinese Buggy to Race on the next year Offroad Nationals in Portugal.

Just a few tubes are left from original and It is almoust ready for tests.

I've done the engine head breathing changes and the sump plate will be done when disambled for painting.

I'm open to hear every tip you guys have to make this experience worth and for now I just have a question regarding the EXUP removal.

I'm familiar with wiring, so, how can I sort the Exup Removal error on my 2008 R1 Engine

I haven't removed mine yet but it's a bit more involved than sticking a resistor in the circuit if you want to properly fool the ecu.
You can buy a little black box to do it but they're not cheap, or try this diy version. linky

Too complex
I'll go for the Graves Motorsports Yamaha R1 Exup Eliminator
64.95USD + shipping costs

Thank you

Hi
Why go down the complicated & expensive route .
Just buy an exup motor & fit it somewhere in the engine bay, cheap solution &
Job done, previously we bought an expensive box of tricks which did not work
and still had the fault code on the dash.

This is the one I'll buy. http://www.gravesport.com/Graves-Motorsports-Yamaha-R1-Exup-Eliminator-04-06.html

I'm a bit freak about clean work... but do you think this will not work? thx
