Most things were invented by the Victorians; if you google long enough I am sure there'll be a picutre of a Hansom cab with the same detail

Anyway. I see another influence in the headlights of the Lotus...

For what its worth Steve, even if that were the case, you've improved it imensly.

I think it's more than just the side detail that looks similar.

That said though, as above if you look hard enough you can find similarities all over the place, so even the truly original design will have had hidden influences from many sources.

inspiration for the back end of my design came from a bumper car at a fair!
