This is made from six and 8mm ali tube drilled milled. Do I need three uprights? or place a 7 in the middle. Answers on a post card

can you slide the two uprights further in? If so, I would just leave it at two!

try placing a central one to see how it looks; personally I would ant a bit more strenth agaisnt big objects so wold put in a central bar.

that is a good grille - none of this solid mesh grilles with minuscule holes..

I made from the ali tube you get in B&Q
6&8 MM pop riveited on the ends to small flat bar ali.
spaces at 35 mm centers less than 20 quids worth same price as the halfords mesh and cheaper than the cat one. The lolocost ones are just rust carriers, cheap and nasty.
Best not to skimp in this area as it spoils the cars "face" and it the small attention to detail that makes the car.

Leave it at two. The old greek temples always had an even number of columns because a central one draws attention and is less aesthetically pleasing. Kind of random I know but the principle applies and if you ever read up on the stuff you'll see they know their stuff!
