Help needed - Hard disc recovery tools
r1_pete - 29/8/11 at 09:56 AM

Transferring data to a new PC, I managed to corrupt the directory structure of a hdd in a caddy, the data isn't mega important, but it would be useful to have it back.

Does anyone know of a freebie tool to try and recover some of the files, I've tried a couple but you get to copying the data to a usable location and you're asked to buy a license......

I seem to remember I had good results from Testdisk.
