Transferring data to a new PC, I managed to corrupt the directory structure of a hdd in a caddy, the data isn't mega important, but it would be
useful to have it back.
Does anyone know of a freebie tool to try and recover some of the files, I've tried a couple but you get to copying the data to a usable location
and you're asked to buy a license......
I seem to remember I had good results from Testdisk.
i do dr as part of my day job, if you want to send me the hdd along with a usb hard drive i could get it done for the cost of p&p and a donation
to Macmillan, unfortuantely cant let you have the tools as they cost a fortune and require a usb security dongle to work. u2u me i fi can help
