What colour for my abundance of wheels???
owelly - 17/4/08 at 09:35 PM

I have found two sets of alloys for my plastic car. And several sets of tyres. The plan is to have one set for the very sticky track tyres and one set for the roady-sticky tyres. Also, I have a Ford based Pick-up that is in need of wheels now I have lent the Revolutions to my chum (who has drilled the stud holes the Gp4 size!!), so when not on the plastic car, a set will be on the Plastic Pick-up.

The question is.......
what colour?

I'm totally colour blind so I favour black. A local firm has quoted me £15 each wheel to do a flat black and £25 for any other colours they have in stock. Another guy will blast the wheels for £5 each (bargain!)

Any thoughts are welcome. Even thoughts on the wheels..........

matt black is so the best colour for all wheels... imo

I agree with black too. All the best wheels are that colour (including mine) and everyone knows cars with black wheels are faster by at least a second a lap!!

Thats it then. I'm never washing my wheels again if they make the car faster when they are black Ore does brake dust not count?

Depends on the colour of the car I think.

But silver for me.

Agree with silver being nice.
