Mother..ing B*%!&rd Thing. (Reverse but no go)

Right, I've finally got the arsing thing to move, under its own power, but it'll only go backwards, stalls out before moving more than a few inches forwards.

Clutch seems to be alright, gearbox is questionable (R-1-2-3 are there, but 4 is MIA, assume that's just a knackered syncro) Brakes aren't seized and the engine runs okay (but not great) at idle, and revving, with no load.

Any ideas gents?

What is it?

Revving on no load, but not driving is often fuel delivery. An engine will rev it's head off on only a crack of throttle on no load.

I take it does roll forward, my GTM rolls one way but not the other probably because the brake shoes have de-laminated and catch in one direction.

Oh yeah, crossflow on injection, omex ecu (with a startup map, because the other one was no use)

I'll have a bash with the juice in a bit.

Yep, rolls both ways.

Is the throttle position senser set up properly?

... good question, the kid trashed my laptop (yay cherryade) so I've not got one hooked up, I'll have a fiddle with that asap.

... Apparently the super high quality ebay fuel pressure regulator had decided that 20psi was enough. Wheeee!
