Interesting Kit Car (Nimbus)
NTDWM, but looks interesting. Mid engine monocoque bodyshell...
Can be found on Ebay
here
If disfunction is a function, then I must be some kind of genius.

It's got challenging looks!
This is one finished:-
Not sure if you could make it look like a purposeful rally car? With lots of sponsor stickers?? Like a Martini Lancia??

Shows that there is only so much you can do with single plane curves.
I think the seller is optimistic in assuming that a car designed for a mini engine will be able to accept the engine from a GTA.

There was a Metro GTA with the old A+ Series engine before the face lift and change to the K series.

Hmmn, gong to get in trouble for saying it but I quite like that, especially with the black and white scheme in Guiness' photo.
GTM is far prettier, but aren't pretty cars for hairdressers?

It was around significantly earlier than a GTM Rossa....
There appears to have been an awful lot of work gone into that!

Probably not too bad, no worse than any other GRP cars of the era anyway. GRP is actually very good at absorbing energy in crashes.

I'd agree with that. The Rossa was launched in '86 and I remember the
'launch' of the Nimbus Coupe at Stoneleigh and I've a feeling it was probably '84......
