Wanted black vinyl piping for seats, must be lo-cost

Went to the Stafford show at the weekend hoping to get some cheap piping for the seats I plan to make. Cheapest there was £4 per metre. I explained that this was for a locost and my wife had not given me that much for the entire build.
I am looking for around 10-15 metres and dont really want to pay more than a £1 per metre , Can any one out there help who may have an end of roll or some they never used?
Grateful of any ideas.

Its worth noting that you can make your own piping really easily.... I did it for the TVR...

A strip of your chosen vinyl, folded in half with a single wire trapped in the middle, then stictch down the length with a sewing machine... I could knock off a meter in about 3 mins...

Deffinately lo-cost.. although 49p per meter isnt too bad either :p
