Which type of diff? Push in or Bolt up?
Hi guys.
Not sure what the difference is between the push in shaft diff's, or the bolt on shaft diff's?
Would it be okay to use a diff with push in shafts for a high powered build with lots of torque? (300+bhp)
I built a trike with my father about a year ago and we used the push in type diff, but just wondering on everyone's thoughts?
Noticed nearly all of them on eBay are also the push in type?

AFAIK the internals are all all compatible, the only difference is the addition of the bolt on flange, which "Pushes in" to the diff.
So weither should work with shafts to suit

I recal reading somewhere that the push-ins are not as strong as the Lobro units.

I think the only area of consern would be the push in tripod joint roller bearings however in a light car it's not an issue.
In general if you are fitting rear discs then lobro bolt ons are needed to mate the disc hub to the shaft
Drum brakes = push fit
