rev limiter

Anybody got an old skool rev limiter kicking about (for a distributer/single coil) as I am after a cheapy.
I just cannot afford to kill the engine in my old Triumph again. (Or at least until I have the time to fit a zetec.....)

Cheers
Clive

Paint wee red stripes onto your speedo face, one for each gear . And then pay attention :-)
Old (crap) rev limiters were usually a weighted distributor rotor gizmo.
Semi reliable .. at best

No good I am afraid. It is way to easy to ignore the rev counter when doing an autosolo or trackday. even if I look I tend to use it as "advisory", and with these engines it really isn't. And I have no spare engines left!

Fret not, I have plans to swap the engine (for something rather hardier) once my life settles down a bit.
