Sytec fuel filter

I have picked up an unused sytec 50mm diameter fuel filter.. The main body Is blue with a red threaded cap. Anyone know what is the inlet end? I think it is the red removable cap.... Also do they come with the paper or metal filter as standard?

Thanks
Dave B

Pretty certain the inlet end is the threaded cap.

I'm looking at these right now.

You have the bigger of the two options I've seen.

http://www.competitionsupplies.com/fuel-systems/fuel-filters/bullet-fuel-filter

Site says 8 micron paper filter is standard and 55 micron STEEL mesh is available.

Oddly, this site doesn't mention Sytec as the makers, but the pic they give shows that logo.

No numbers on flow rate or even how much hp it can support.

From what I can tell, the small "compact" billet filters allow up to 200 hp, So my VTEC motor will need the bigger (i.e. more expensive) filters like the one you just got...

Good luck!
Steve
