Working 7.30am till 1.30, then lunch, then swimming, then started car for the fun of it, then quick kip.
Tomorrow, go to Detling then get old PC from MiL, and try and get my Emerald to communicate with it.
Then I might start making the bonnet

looking in dispair at the state of my bodywork
thought i'd put my gearbox in place to see how it looks and oil spilled out the tail casing (i thought it was empty, and nothing leaked in the
car when i collected it ) all over the garage floor.
welded a plate back onto a neighbours lawnmover, and blew a hole in the casing... well, several holes. the metal was very thin.
accidentally set fire to said lawnmover. blew out the fire and blew burning grass into my face (its difficult to get all the grass out)
managed to clean out my spray gun properly though lol
a very productive day

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

Spent most of the day making this air filter housing out of 1 piece of aluminium - spent more time making the formers than making the thing itself!
Happy with the way it came out though - it's nice when a plan in you head works out in reality.

fiited a choke cable that doesn't work to well.
fitted new handbrake handle, that works and is very bling
eventually found the blown fuse that was stopping all guages and dash working, was a small irritation in the dark.
fitted 4 female cigarette sockets under dash on remote power switches so can now have sat nav running off power and not internal 2 hour battery and
can charge phone on the go.
washed car, very much needed
went for quick 10 miler when it EVENTUALLY stopped raining
ohh, and a new gear stick cover. piccies to follow
been a bit of a rush job really, bodged it all together in just 5 1/2 years.

I had a quick play of my mates new arc welder today which I enjoyed as I've never used one before (Neither had he). I also managed to get a few
more pieces of the transmission tunnel cut and tacked. I can almost see the end of the chassis build coming into sight now. Has took me long enough

Is that the London marathon? I need to know. I had the worst hangover ever a good few years back now off Vodka, couldn't eat properly for a week
and the morning of the hangover the London marathon was on telly. I can't watch it now, makes me feel sick

Spent most of the day trying to legally bypass the codes on a bank alarm system and guess what it cant be done. So really a waste of time. I dont know

Fitted a light into the apre room, then spent about 2.5 hrs jet washing all the hard standing outside my house. Jet washer cost £30 of ebay for 160
bar jobby - and it BLASTS the grim straight off! We were thinking of redoing all the flags and concrete at £££'s and I did it all today so it
looks great for the price of about 1000 ltrs of water (we aint on a meter!)
Just need to bush it all off once its dried out, fill the crags between flags with sand and DONE!

woke up,
changed sons nappy.
Looked in mirror, shuddered. Went and registered my son's birth with the local authorities, got back.
changed nappy.
Went for a mad dash for curtains and carpet for his nursery, bought first thing we saw as he was screaming, got home,
changed nappy.
Fitted door frame, architrave and finished inside the nursery cupboard.
Changed nappy.
Little git pooed on the half-on new nappy.
Changed nappy again.
continued working on nursery, clearing the debris, set the Fein to task and lifted a couple of floorboards that need replacing before the carpet
comes.
Changed nappy.
Realised I'd run out of new floor boards, replaced originals.
Changed nappy.
Got fed up so took the dremel to my computer case so the oversize PSU will fit in it without the case being half open and jury rigged wires leading
all over the place.
Changed nappy.
Realised I've forgotten to go food shopping, there is nothing for me and the missus to eat.
Bugger.

Played with kids, listened to more tracks from the 'Fill this thread with music.......' thread.
Read instructions for new shed - started p*ssing down with rain so abandoned that idea.
Painted suspension bits with chassis black and front and rear bumpers with POR15. Once again forgot that POR15 doesn't come off skin and a new
lesson that draper face masks don't stop aerosol paint - so got a nose full of black snot.
Made tea (self assembly Fajitas)
Going in bath with a glass of red wine next.

Spent most of the day watching e-bay for an engine I did eventually win. Which means I might be at Stoneleigh in it this year! Oh, and I was at work
this morning. Soon to be off down the pub for a celebratory beverage.
