Yes, Jack is very helpful, and has a very useful website. My only problem with him is that his fibreglass is so thick it's hard to cut!

Is the engine that far forward because issues caused by the separate tranny for the Harley? I'm using a V twin (not that sort of size
tho'!!) and I've used the shorter length to help bring the motor further back.

I quite like it in a strange sort of a way. I like it when people go off the beaten track with engine choices.
