What do you think to the size, looks of my proposed diffuser if i get it made to match...
I know... this one won't last long in the wet
though..

I like that styke of diffuser. Are you going to have the Evo 9 Vortex generator fitted to your rollbar aswell

looks good - you probably want to consider a full front to rear floor in order for it to have any effect though

If it will fit lol..
I just think the Mk rear is a little un finished..
It will be more for looks than purpose but the floor is only missing at the engine bay so it is a possibility, but then heat may become an issue and
where do you stop...
Another alternative but i think i prefer a diffuser..

He did say that it is also to finish the look of the car.
Looks good in my opinion, though i don't think i would bother putting one on mine
Go for it, surely it can't be detrimental in anyway!

indeed, i like it (u should have it in carbon ) but its hardly going to hurt, its not adding much wieght, looks good, and a possiblity of smoothing
airflow... maybe

Looks fine to me Marco. Anything that stops the rear panel acting like a brake 'chute must be of some advantage.

i quite like it but i'd roll the back lip up if at all possible. it'd make it more work and probably outsourcing the rolling but would
make it look far more purposeful.
3mm ally sounds heavy though! i'd look at 1.2mm or similar if it were me and perhaps look to extend the top plate forward to the back of the
floor. in thinner material, you should be able to roll the top round a lamp post/drainpipe etc too, then make a pattern to cut the strakes to.
forgot to mention, whatever you do, don't put a westfield lower bit on like on that green one. it's truly hideous.

Not sure what you mean by rolling the back lip up Indy can you show an example? 1.2mm is quite thin don't you think. Good idea of extending it
forward more though.. will see if thats possible..
cheers

True, but aerodynamic parts would generally have a noticable efffect at anything over 60-70mph.
Cossie whale tail is a prime example. That was there for a reason and theres only a hand full of them that will reach 200mph.

Anything more than that and it will weigh far too much.

If you are doing it for looks, by all means. If you think it's actually doing something aero for you, I think not. Without some sort of
testing, contrived wings and such are likely not very efficient or effective.
