any advice on suspension setup etc?

Its a must to do spanner check and make sure everythings tight and all fluids are ok (inclueding yours).

Fuel (jerry can)
Tyre Gauge
Mini compressor
Spare belts
Spare brake pads
Basic tools
But most fo all,
the right attitude.
