Hi
i had a quick check tonight there is power going into the power cut off switch but i think nothing coming out the other end. Couldnt get under the car to have a proper look no axel stands at home and im not going under without.

Any ideas what may be causing the loss of power.

Just to recap power from battery to cut off switch but when i trace that to the starter relay no power there? (ZX9 electrics)

thanks

It might be worth checking the regulator/rectifier. A mate of mine broke down yesterday on his motorbike and it turned out to be just that. It had fried in the heat so the only thing powering the bike/electrics was the battery. When it went ran out of juice he ground to a halt

If it's one of those really cheap FIA type power cut-off swithes with the removable red key, the terminals have been known to get hot melt the crap plastic and although it's switched on the terminals are only making contact with fresh air....
just take the switch out by joining the in and out wires and see if you're back to getting power to the system
