Evening Chaps
Sorry for flooding you out with my pics, but this is an opportunity for me to get you guys to give my car the once over prior to IVA, as this has now
been paid for!
Any comments good bad or indifferent as always appreciated.
Cheers

Could be the camera angle, but are those seats tall enough?
Lovely looking car! But I'd fail you on principle with that steering wheel! I assume that'll be off post IVA.
Very good
just one thing but i may be wrong side indicators are they ok there as i thought they had to be on the rear wing edges
As i say i may be wrong
Nice build my the way
Jacko
Are the front wing stay tops ok hard to see on photos

Think you wil find that the inner end of the track rod end (where it is a hex shape) will need to be covered with the plastic sleeving. When mine was IVA'd it was failed as the tester could still feel the hex shape through the sleeve and I had to wrap it with foam and then sleeve it.
looks good
only thing I notice, I think the manufacturers plate has too much information
Agree with the trackrod bolt. Will need to be covered.
How do the harnesses sit when you're in the seat? Looks like they may be resting on the seat??
Is there a height requirement within the iva?

Side repeaters was one thing I was expecting to crop up, they are mounted reasonably high up on the scuttle, I've had a look at roughly the
correct distance and I think I may get away with them.
Wing stays, are you meaning the radius? If so then yes these have a decent radius.

I also had that feeling! I think I'll whip it off tomorrow and see if I can trim some off on the guillotine.

Whats the radius of the bottom of the dash, or is it padded?
I'll get these sorted, typically I did originally have these covered but decided to have a change as I had some heat shrink in the mix which was
never going to be a goer!

A very tidy build.
Mainly repeats of various above,
latest manual notes that the vin plate should contain AND be laid out exactly as shown on the manual, you can remove weight info etc, but not add
anything, and must be in the right order.
Side repeaters, you have to remember its not only the 5degrees from the rear but the 5 degrees below horizontal. If you mark out 5 degrees from rear,
which usually means you can just see them over the rear arches, but then drop your line of sight down below being level with the lights, I suspect
they will disappear before you reach 5degrees.
Additionally to what others have said, is your fuel filler hose suitably marked for fuel or documened as such?

Radius on the gold coloured nut on the inside of camber adjusters on front wishbone?
Looks like a nice build. I think most of my points have been covered. Have you thought about the top of the front shocks? I put stretch boots over the
shocks and all the inboard wishbone mounts. I also went overboard and covered every edge on the suspension just about. Are you putting covers under
the dash? Helps keep prying eyes out! Have you got locking bolts under the roll hoop? Mine was bolted down to welded in nuts on the plate and he
wanted to see locking nuts or spring washers on them. That and the headlight aim were the only things he picked me up on.
Some photos of my roadster Pre IVA are here - http://www.locostbuilders.co.uk/photos.php?action=gal&user=davidimurray&folder=Pre
IVA
This is a link to the filler hose that I bought from CBShttp://www.carbuildersolutions.com/uk/ultra-flexible-fuel-filler-hose-51mm-2 , they also
supplied in a fashion a CofC, basically stating that the filler hose was suitable for fuel although the hose its self isn't marked.

Don't know if this has been picked up already your rear lights indicators are not vertical?
Is there a tank breather and roll over valve or loop

Hi, yes there is a tank breather and roll over valve.
Not sure about the lights though!, I'll have a look at the iva manual but I thought it only applied to the reversing light?

I'll sort this today as I couldn't for the life of me think of or find a suitable nut cover.

Doesnt even apply to the reverse, just the Fog.

Secondary fixing for mushroom insert in upright? Fuel tank earth? Looks good!
Looks like a nice build. Just to agree with the other points already made
I) side repeaters will be checked for visibility from behind the rear arches so its very unlikely that they will pass the 5 degree test. LED's
on the rear arches is the usual fix but I put mine on the front ones
ii) gold camber adjuster nut on the inside of the upper wishbones. I used walking stick ferrules which could be glued in place, but I inserted a bit
of plastic into the hollow section and bolted it through.
Description
iii) Top of front coil overs. Cover with a rubber boot as mentioned by others if they can be contacted by the radius sphere. I split the boot so
that I could slide it on and then superglued it back together
iv) Lower radius of dash. If you have gone for the padded option rather than the 19mm radius, just make sure that its of the correct hardness, if its
too soft or too hard he might fail you.
v) If there is no obvious earth strap on the fuel tank they will ask you to show that its earthed through the sender bolts, so worth having a
multi-meter to hand
vi) Remember that the vin number has to be seam welded all of the way around, rather than tack welded, if you haven't gone for the stamping
option.

Ok Chaps
Many thanks for all the replies so far.
To confirm all things listed.
Roll bar now fitted with spring washers
Camber adjustment nuts now capped off
Seat height (Good spot) Very close to the 700mm Dims but looks like it's about 20mm over by my measuring device
Side repeaters, I'm not willing to take the risk so I've just received little round led ones
Track rod ends, covers ready to go on
Fuel tank now separately earthed
Manufactures plate is off so just need to make another one
If I've missed anything feel free to shout up!
Cheers again
Leon
