Do a bit of a search on here and wscc, there ok afaik, but there seams to be mixed debate as to if its a cost effective imprvement over the oem ones!

I have them, they are ok - they are allow, and a bit lighter than stock (Can't remember how much) Be careful when fitting the studs, my press marked the allow the first time i put the stud in...

Make sure you have full articulation your suspension joints as any lock out will break them......

Also be very careful fitting bearings to them, with the anoidse coating on them, it makes the bearing a far too tight fit, i had to get a little machined out of mine. But they seem good enough quailty.

Are you referring to the alloy uprights rather than the hubs?

Make VERY sure, immediately that you get them, to trial fit the bearings. DO THIS IMMEDIATELY!!!

After buying a set and having them on the shelf for six months, went to fit the bearings, and they just dropped in. Should have been a press fit, but they rattled around in the hubs. This problem was also encountered by some on an Aus site, who bought from RD.

RD offerred to have them sleeved, for a proper fit. This is not an option, as the sleeves will eventually flog out, when bearings are replaced.(And they will need replacing.) he sleeves can crack also.

RD then offerred to replace them FOC, which was very good of them to do.

It seems that RD were/are well aware of the bearing bore problems, and it is routine for them.

My question is, Where is the Quality Control that would have stopped this in the first place? A simple GO/NOGO gauge isn't rocket science.

I had the opposite problem (like madrallysport). I had to get them skimmed to get the bearings in!

They are cheap for a reason lol!!

I just fitted a set of bearings to a pair and the fits on all 4 cups were different!! The tightest was as tight as I would have wanted it to, and the loosest very much as loose as you'd ever want. Not a quality item, but ridiculously cheap, and functional enough.

they also issued a recall earlier this year and replaced the fabricated steering arms foc as they had a habit of breaking along one of the welds, that said i have been very happy with mine.

Thanks for your help guys. hilst out on the pist in london yesterday(I do suggest a visit to Hyde Park winterwonderland as a way to empty your wallet and keep your kids happy) I was busy sorting some allyy uprights Carbon front cycle wings and stays,hubs bearings, race leda calipers,pads and discs. It came out of the blue but very happy with the cost (less than what the discs and callipers would have cost alone new.
