Car seat runners

Hi, does anyone know how to take car seat runners apart. The slide back and forth but obviously have stops. How do you remove the stops so that part of the runner can slide out. The seats in question are Alfa gtv but the principle applies to all sliders. Thanks

Theres normally a tag bent up from the bottom bit, but beware! There be balls rolling all over if your not VERY careful
