Folks, How are the costs of aluminium sheets looking around the country?

Aluminium warehouse want £74+VAT for a 2500*1250*1.5 sheet!!

I'm in Oxfordshire, Does anyone know of a cheaper source around here? I'm after 4 sheets.

I paid £52 (inc VAT) for a sheet for half hard 2500*1250*1.2 sheet in Aalco in Newcaslte last month.

I tend to use either Blackburns or service metals

I got a sheet from Richards engineering in Stanton Harcourt. About £50 but a few years ago.

I paid £38 for a sheet last year from aalco in liverpool, try speaking to a local engineering firm who have accounts there and will pay a quarter of the front desk price. see what they'll do you for cash.

cant remember the price but certainly not £75!!! was more like 30-40

it was £120 for:

8x4 1.5mm

6m length of 25mm flat
6m length of 25x50mm angle
