hi i have a zcars hillman imp my advice is make sure you put what you want down on pen to paper and make sure you get exactly what you pay for!!!
also try to find knight motorsport engineering and holeshot racing.
good luck with your build
Hi
I would say you should email jarrod "jack" frost at Holeshot tuning, and discuss the quality of z cars work, oh and maybe ask
"imp paul" (in private) to also "enlighten" you, as I think both those parties and a few others may be able to provide documented
evidence (and pictures) to allow you to decide if Z cars is the company for you

Balancing the story up, I have had good experiences with Z-cars service and quality of work.
I would also recommend Z-Cars quality of work and engineering. My mate had the first ever bike engined Mini that Chris built, which he built exactly to our requirements with the engine in the front and RWD as we needed it to be eligible for rallying. I must admit to having doubts as to whether it would work reliably but over 5 seasons of serious abuse not a single thing that Z-Cars fabricated gave us any bother, our only retirements being down to cooking the engine and a bent arm due to getting intimate with a 45 gallon barrel (full of water). He only sold it after breaking his back navigating for someone else and needing the money while he was off work. He would have it back in a heartbeat.
And in my limited experience - I would recomend Retropower
Mines a spaceframed Fiat 126 with Blackbird power.
They know their cheese !

I suspect you won't find many people (if any) who disagree with that statement!
i feel the lads at retro power are very good i would have had a look at them if i had to do it all again hope it works out for you
