Hi guys,
I am new to the kit car scene after always wanting one from a child.
I am currently overhauling a 2002 Westfield Megabusa BEC... I have a few jobs to carry out on the front end whist the engine and gearbox is out
getting a new 4th gear / replacement box, which ever the outcome of the inspection is.
Whilst all this is on going I am going to replace track rod ends, upper and lower ball joints etc as all the rubbers are split.
I can buy all the gear direct from Westfield for a premium, however I am led to believe that all these types of components will be from a particular
model of ford sierra or escort etc. so can buy from a local motor factors for a fraction of the price...
Does anyone know if this is the case and help to point me in the right direction..?
Many thanks.
Ian.
Top ball joints are transit drag links. Bottom are Austin Maxi
