SVA tester would faint.

speedyxjs - 20/3/09 at 07:10 AM

I like that
They dont have SVA in the USA do they?

iank - 20/3/09 at 07:24 AM

No SVA in the US, just the legal system from hell if you hurt someone.

I must admit to quite liking it myself, but you couldn't get anything quite like that on the road over here.

Coose - 20/3/09 at 07:40 AM

Would it need to be SVA'd as it's already registered and it's certainly over 10 years old? Surely just a transfer of reg?

Job's a carrot....

mookaloid - 20/3/09 at 07:51 AM

I had an ariel square four basket case a while back - never got it going but I was fascinated by the 1000cc square four engine.

balidey - 20/3/09 at 08:15 AM

Did you hear about the car with a wooden chassis, wooden wheels, wooden engine?....

yep ^^^^ locost BEC in very early form. good effort I'd say.

RoadkillUK - 20/3/09 at 06:27 PM

Another wooden car here, almost as classic ... it's based on an Allegro

gazza285 - 20/3/09 at 07:36 PM

And your young 'un in the mirror enjoying the Locost?

RoadkillUK - 21/3/09 at 02:59 AM

Yeah that's my youngest, my eldest is never at home so misses out
That's in Ilkley, just about to go over the moors to Shipley. Nice ride.

cobra427 - 21/3/09 at 09:42 AM

I always thought they were a bit luddite in Ikley - and now you've proved it..

Did you see the ol' Austin Morris parked in front of it in the second pic..

"Eeee.. none of that modern rubbish fer us rawn deeer!!"

He he he - just thought.... Some MOT men wouldn't know what wood worm was so they'd be foxed

What plank built that ? If you use timber from a renewable source and not rain forest that could get you some Gordon Brownie points. Pining for the fjords or something comes to mind
