High end audio shop wont give you top money..... Either on the appropriate hifi forums or Ebay......people pay silly money for everything on there....just because its ebay it "must be cheaper"

LIST IT ON EBAY CLASSIFIED

ebay, hifi wigwam, hificandy and hififorsale (not looked at the last one in detail but initial borwsing looks a good 'un).

craigslist and gumtree are good places if you plan to do a scam.

.... and what is a stereo compressor when at home? that appears to be studio equipment - never come across that in a hifi system - so thise suggestions may be of no use.

so top end HiFi sites will not be useful then.

franky - 5/10/12 at 10:20 AM

They would as a few people use them in home setups. Those with very expensive hifi!

I would have thought the last thing someone who has spent a vast sum on top of the range Hi-Fi is a compressor of some sort. It is studio equipment not Hi-Fi.

stick it on ebay someone will buy it.

Neve's hardly home use though, is it ?

Lovely kit of course.

I have an LA 4x4 compressor / gate and it never sees use these days.
When recording, I'm far more likely to do it in software.

Live, the only thing I want compressed is drums and bass guitar.
My bass amp has compression and the drum sound is up to the engineer.
Last weekend, the pa hire company had a Yamaha LS9 with compression on every one of the 32 inputs.

I would suggest that such a high end bit of kit needs to go to worldwide market on the pro audio section of ebay.
Somebody somewhere has been looking for one for years.

i'm going to ring a few shops this week, otherwise I will just ebay it. I might even go no reserve just to get some interest going, however it comes with a risk I guess!
