Is there some particular reason the WSCC has allowed people to register but not post? Do I need some kind of secret handshake, a fez and a minibike or something?

Don't take it personally, from recollection the forum administrator (a pretty decent chap by all accounts) simply 'vets' new profiles to weed out the good from the bad.

You'll be posting in no time.

although you have to pay membership to post in certain areas... such as the forsale section!

You need a membership number to register.

don't think so. A mate registered recently (Sept) and he is not a member.
There are plenty of non members on the forum.

There was a recent influx of unwanted material IYKWIM, so admin may have stepped up the vetting a litlle. All Locostbuilders welcome though! I'll flag this post up to them...

Emailed Barney, no reply. No problem, I will get over it.

well..... It looks like Barney went to the trouble of registering here just to reply to this thread so I am sure he isn't just ignoring you.

Maybe it just needs a bit of patience? I think the admin on wscc have had something else on their minds over the last 24 hours....

All Ok now.

What do you mean? I'm not keeping up obviously.
