duratec oil leak

Hi guys, after removing my engine and gearbox last weekend to fix an oil leak before i take it to the rolling road i found the leak is still there, its coming from the sump/front cover somewhere. I know these engines dont use gaskets so i used a gasket compound, and its still leaking even though i thought i used a lot of sealant to try to stop the leaks. Is there anything else i can do?

Sorry this may have already been covered but in the absence of any other repies,
Is the engine breathing properly?

Has the one way valve in the breather been removed if your not using the standard inlet manifold?
If the engines over pressurising that might be causing it to leak.

hiya, thanks for the reply, today i played with the car and found the cause. Basically i left out a bolt, its hidden behind the crank pulley, just above the big pulley bolt> easy fix at first thought, but it meant timing the engine again!
