wow...that looks nice...i like such oldschool aluminium panelled cars....and look at those tiny details!!!!

everything on the car is home made seats are 450mm wide i am a fat bugger
tacked up the nosecone tonight hope to weld up over the weekend

thankyou for that i am afraid it took me all weekend to make the headlight shells so would not be viable to make more
can etch the badges easy enough if any one wants something like that.have made a few different badges for different projct

Hi. Seeing that last pic of your business logo reminded me of a vehicle I saw in the Wellington museum. Can't remember whether it was Holden or Ford Falcon.

Now that really is a "Tin-Top" . Since you asked for some pics, here is a couple which might be of interest. Firstly, another Locost, with fine-looking aluminium body-work :-

I recall that the front suspension was Triumph Spitfire based. Don't have any record of the builder.

And this last photo was of a real oddity. It looks like a replica of the JET 1 in the Science Museum in London. I was told quite firmly by one of the old guys with it, that it wasn't A replica; it was THE replica! Rover made 2 of them.

And, Yes, it still has the original gas turbine engine at the rear, although it uses the front-mounted Rover 3.5 V8 for road use.
