which ratio lsd diff??
hi folks, your help/jugdement is needed,
ok ime running a rover t series turbo engine, lt77 gearbox and a sierra 2.0ltr diff, i want to change diff for lsd unit, which ratio diff should i go
for...thanx

people will need your tyre size to do any calcs. Myself, id start with a 3.62 LSD because thats the cheapest, and if you want to make another ratio
you'll need the basic LSD anyway. There is a 392 but i think that would be too short.

I had a 3.62 lsd in mine with a 200 hp XE but the gearbox is a BGH with longer ratios and 15 inch wheels. I changed to a 3.92 lsd and found it far
better as the wheels are fairly large and the ratios longer.
I would def go for a 3.92 if you can find one.

I am running a 3.62 with 2.0L type 9 and 15" wheels, seems ok to me, top speed 130 MPH. But need longer first gear.

I have a LT77 and use a 3.62 diff ( 17inch wheels)
This gives me 60mph in 2nd gear at approx 6100 rpm.
used to have a 3.92 but althought better acceleration throught the gears they ran out too soon.
