Compared to other snow events Boardercross looks really messy.
Arms everywhere.

it looks really weird. the track is all very flat with sharp angles on all the jumps.
even the banked corners are made of flat sections

It may look messy but they sure have some skill ,with both feet strapped to one board you need your arms to keep some sort of balance , I've not
long got back from a snowboarding holiday and I wish I had at a tenth of the talent

Agree completely ! In the last couple of years I've dabbled with boarding after
25 years skiing and my arms are EVERYWHERE
Fantastic feeling when you get it right though
