As you say very short sighted, unless there is some fault that only shows up with a battery fitted, (can't think of one though). Nice looking
little motor, if a bit on the dear side. Ray

Doubt very much that it is a genuine Cox, at least not a 1980 car IIRC the Cox cars were a lot earlier. Mines a 1971 and that isn't a Cox

Why would it be MOTed in 2005 if it hasn't been taxed since 1997 ?
