Anyone know the best product/method for removing silicone sealant around a windscreen and wipers?

I know there is a product called silicone eater made by everbuild used it years ago on a bathroom seemed to work then but you will need to call them to see if its suitable for your application may have SOME effect,see below:

Let it dry then use a stanley knife to trim off any excess

White spirit dissolves silcone sealant with a bit of patience
