Audi tempted

Was so tempted to this, gone out of my price league for my next toy realistically though.

Nice!! Not sure about the 810mm discs though, that would make the wheels rather large...

It also seems a bit too cheap to be true? Or is it one of those cars that has been modded to within an inch of its life but the actual value of the car isn't much higher than a standard one?

I would, went out in Chris Masons RS6 that was only just over 500bhp, truly awesome, at the time I had 5 litre V8 a TVR it made it look sick

Do you have unlimited funds for servicing? Is the check engine light out sometimes? It will drive you crazy, but when it works, it's great.

The C5 RS6 are very fast in a straight line but they are rubbish on corners or on a track simple because of the mass (and overheating on track). The DRC Suspension leaks causing issue and will need replacement frequently or conversion to coil overs. The gearboxes are also fragile at even stock power and typically need rebuilding (think '000s). This car has had both but I still wouldn't go near it.

There is a reason that the earlier B5 RS4 are worth more 2nd hand than the newer C5 RS6. People I know who have had them all had major warranty repairs so if it doesn't have a warranty I wouldn't touch it.
