Rear drums won't bleed!
I'm stuck again with my brakes. Have sorted all the break lines etc and bled the don't callipers but the rear drums just won't
bleed. U am using an eezibleed as I am by myself and I am getting no bubbles no fluid, nothing out the rear drums.
Help?!

Single master cylinder?
Pressure ok in the easibleed?
have you got a balancing valve for the rears? maybe that needs opening?

Single master cylinder.
Eezibleed pressurised.
No balancing valve i am aware of or can see. kit did have pressure reducing valve which I have removed.

How does the pedal feel, solid, spongy, or hitting the floor?
Have the fronts bled OK?
Is the pedal returning all the way back up?
Is the master cylinder piston returned all the way back? If the piston does not come all the way back beacuse the pedal is restricting it or
it's a bit sticky then the port to the reservoir will not be opened.
If the master cylinder appears to stroking correctly, try slackening the pipe at the master cyinder and giving the pedal a pump to see if fluid is
present at the MC, if it is then tighten the connection and do the same again working towards the back of the car until you find where the fluid is
not appearing.
If you can't get fluid at the MC then post back and we'll go down a different road.

balancing valve = pressure reducing valve.
I guess you are looking for a blockage in a pipe then?
starting at the M/C try slackening the pipe fittings one by one to see if fluid comes out and work your way along the system to the back to see where
it stops coming out.

New slave cylinders/nipples or old? If old check the nipples aren't blocked and poke something up the holes to make sure they aren't
blocked. Quite common with old cylinders.

Managed to get a bit out but was black! Re bled fronts and got same but eventually ran clean so now doing rears again.

I guess you aren't using new kit then?
The black stuff could be from any used parts in the system and it is probably an indication that the components are in less than perfect condition
which is a worry in a braking system...

Front calipers on the correct sides? bleed nipples need to be at the top otherwise you won't get all of the air out. Had this problem myself
before!

Front caliper nipples are at the bottom, so these need swapping round?
I bought the kit part built and as far as I can tell the master cylinder and front calumets are the only bits that weren't new in the braking
system. Drums look new and obviously all new lines.
Fronts bleed easily and quickly rears bleed with difficulty and slowly.

Yep deffo need to be at the top! I spent ages trying to bleed mine, a mate came round we swapped them over and it was bled in ten minutes!

Will do. With the way works looking this week, stoneleigh next week and a full packed family weekend the next I won't get chance to do anything
now untill 25th may!
