Quick release steering boss?

I need to move my steering wheel closer, so I'm considering a quick release boss.
I'm worried that if I just use a spacer that I won't be able to get in easily.
Can anybody recommend a good quick release boss without spending a fortune?
I looked on eBay but there are so many different ones at so many different prices.
Steering column is from an Allegro.
Cheers

I have one of the lockable snap-off ones for sale. Missing the horn connector though so you'd either need to make up the adaptor plate or have a horn button off the steering wheel.

This is the type I use on my car, it seems pretty good. You always need a key to remove it so it can't come off accidentally, and there's no slop in the mechanism.

Interesting, but not quite what I'm looking for as it only gives 30mm extension and I'd also be worried that my wheel is a bit too small so I might catch my fingers on the sticky out bits.

Also thinking about it, as I want to remove the wheel for getting in and out, having a lock may be a bit of a pain.

Any other recommendations of quick release bosses worth considering (without breaking the bank)?

Cheers

I think Rally Design do one, and they tend to be quite competitive.

I've got a Snap off one as well. Mine was £60 from Halfords. It works very well and seems well made.

Was looking at these at Stoneleigh, seemed very well made, no movement in the mechanism at all. They were
only £35 too, knew I should have bought one

I really liked the feel and quality of this one: http://www.plays-kool.co.uk/acatalog/WorksBell.html
Tried it at stoneleigh. The ball bearing ones are supposed to eliminate play too. The spline ones will go bad pretty quick.

That's nice but more than I really wanted to pay.
