ebay laptop
i wanted / needed an extra laptop but wanted the same as i already had so i bought one from ebay.
laptop is fine but it should have a 19v 3.42amp charger, they have sent me a 3.16amp charger, i've complained but they tell me they have sold
100's like this.
so people tell me, am i correct in thinking that it will force the charger to lover load and cook ?
give me some clever words of wisdom to annoy the seller with please.
thanks in advance

It should just take a bit longer to charge. Unless you're running the laptop at 100% all the time it should be fine to keep up.

Ive never heard of a battery charger going into lover load. I guess it depends on the sort of websites you visit

Sorry that is nonsense.
The charger could potentially burn out under full load ie when you are using it to power the laptop at the same time when the battery is being
charged. When the battery is fully charged then the current draw will drop. It will probably work ok but get very warm.
