919 Firblade Custom Exhaust Spec - Advice Please

Hi All.

I have a live axle Westfield SEW with a 919 fireblade engine fitted.

The engine has been jetted by AB Performance and I am running the standard fireblade airbox.

The exhaust system I have is pretty crap and too restrictive, so I am going to make a new custom one.

Can anyone offer advice on the best pipe diameter to use? plus any details on pipe length/equal length etc.? I have an AB performance supplied silencer which I'll be using. Basically looking for optimum performance considering the rest of the setup I have.

Any help would be great. Thanks, Anthony,

I used a zx9 ef model for mine with the larger bores and mid range pipes. Works well

Thanks KJ,

Please can you advise exactly what you mean by a zx9 ef model?

Do you have any details on the diameter/length of the pipework? plus any pics would be great.

Thanks very much.

My engine is from the c model and the e\f uses bigger bores and has a link tube between 1 & 4 and between 2 & 3 for more mid range.

I used the standard E/F headers on mine, made for a simple install, and worked well. The linked pipes make a big difference to mid range.
