Putting Dynamics 1.2 wheels on, what offset?
Hi,
Wanting to change from the old set of TSW's I have on for some black 1.2's but I have no idea what offset to ask for. I've been told
that there should be an ET mark on the wheel somewhere but there isn't.
The current ones are on the Sierra hubs so 4 X 100 with 6J X 15 wheels with 195/50 tyres at the moment.
Any suggestions?

Sierra Hubs are 4x108.
On the current wheels, measure the distance from the hub mounting face to the centre of the rim, thats the offset.

Have you taken the old wheels off to look for the offset mark - sometimes its on the bit that covered by the hub when you bolt them on...
Otherwise its easy enough to measure, but Sierra's are normally ET35 to ET38 and most cars based on them stick to something similar (unless its
got a very wide rear end like my dax on ET0)
Always best to measure twice and buy once though 
As above sierra's are 4x108 P.C.D's with a 63.4mm centre bore
(the centre bore is important, but most aftermarket wheels come with plastic spacer rings to clip in the centre to suit)

Yes wheels are off. Lots of numbers but none with ET prefix and others are too long.

Mine are et38. That's on Sierra running gear with 13" TD pro 1.2s.

Generally et38 but could be et16 which is Peugeot offset same pcd.
A lot of wheels don't get stamped which is annoying

Bear in mind that offset is affected by wheel width also, in respect that any change in width is split evenly if offset stays the same.
Ie go from a 6 inch wide rim with 38 offset to a 7 inch rim with 38 offset the wheel and tyre will be close to the inside of car by 12.5mm and will
stick 12.5mm further out. So if the width is changing, a check of clearances on inner and outer edges is necessary.
Further to this any increase in offset will bring spokes closer to caliper so clearance there can often be an issue of u have big brakes and/or small
wheels.
Its also noteworthy it doesn't always matter what the donors car offset was, as the kit could have been designed or built (arches and mounts
specifically) around a different offset.

Measuring from where I think I should according to the diagram im getting 38ish but looking on another wheel I've found 35P which I
couldn't see before.
Reading round the rim I've got 6015RAZ 35P 4 108 72NP C MWL560kg 1H74S363 200604.
Some are obvious, some aren't. I'm guessing I have an offset of 35 then?
