ATE Reservoir, where can I buy one

Hi all,

As title really.

After cracking the original and fitting a cheap Chinease knock off which leaks.

Where could I find a complete reservoir 03.3558-0527.2

Or just the bottom part 03.3508-8010.1

The number 03.3508-8302.3 is not a direct replacement for 03.3508-8010.1 as the outlets are 8mm not 12mm, but the spacing is 85mm.

Would feel a lot safer having a nice thick plastic one.

What donor car did the original come from?

https://www.burtonpower.com/ are good for Ford parts.

https://www.gsfcarparts.com/ are good for German, Swedish & French parts.

Don't overlook main dealers - sometimes more expensive, but sometimes have the correct parts.

It's a brake fluid reservoir rectangular about 49mm tall.
It's not sloped.
I can find them with 8mm outlets but not 12mm.

It appears that they're found on a T2.5 or T3 bus, but even then the outlets are sometimes 8mm.

I'll post a pic tonight.

I got the feeling I'm going to have to get some 8mm rubber bungs and use the 8mm version.

I looked on the two sites above but no joy.

Can't answer on the product quality, but I do know a place that can help you further.

Try https://www.vwjim.co.uk/
