Work is going to be a bit tough for the next few weeks - any volunteers to arrange the next get-together?

Any one know anywhere suitable in the Bury st Edmunds area ? Pub or cafe perhaps with a fair size car park, Colchester is a bit too far for some of us.

Rushbrooke Arms has a decent size car park. It can be busy in the evenings and on Sunday's. It is mainly a food pub. Situated 4-5 miles along the Sudbury Road heading out of Bury St Edmunds.

What about The Flying fortress along Mount Road, Bury St Edmunds? That is where the East Anglian Pistonheads meet.

Couple of further places ....Three Kings at Fornham All Saints (Just off the A14 by 2 miles) or my local The Fox in Elmswell (1 mile off A14 between Bury and Stowmarket)

I've been looking on the map and it seems that if we have people coming from all different areas then maybe we need to find a central location.

At the moment if the interested builders are coming from Colchester Bury & Cambridge areas then the central point seems to be around Sudbury.

Perhaps we all need to state our locations in a new thread & then find the most central point and a suitable venue.

Just my thoughts on the subject you understand.

Not a lot of responce at the moment so how about a suggestion of somewhere in the Sudbury area ?

I feel a bit guilty sugesting venues that are near & handy to me, (Sudbury, ish)

but if that's what you all want then I'm willing to ride round and find one.

My mate Rob lives in Sudbury who was at the last get together (he's not on this list though) and I'll ask him tomorrow if he knows of anywhere suitable. Sounds like a good location.

The flying fortress in bury is a nice pub, good food lots of B17 "flying fotress" memribilia and a big car park.

if people want a map i can draw one up.

its about 1 to 2 miles off the A14 so easy to get to.

Pubs open at 12 o'clock, so maybe move on to a boozer?
