mk indy is this a good buy!!!!

hi all there is mk indy on piston heads which the guy wants £4100 and he will throw in a reverse box and prop for me to convert to a bike engine, is this a reasonable price for the kit car what do you guys think? ps its the yellow and silver one on the at the top of the page

Got to agree with Jonno there - looks a fantastic buy and will work out far cheaper i would say than the one on Pistonheads.

Its already road legal for starters and has the bike engine already fitted. Having bought my own kit part built (completely stripped it back to a bare chassis to build it to my / SVA standards) and i'm sure Martin wont mind but having (very almost) completed a part built car for him, you really could be buying a load of trouble in a part built that could take a chunk of investment to get right. You really need a lot of experience when looking at one part built to know whats likely to be fine and whats an SVA nightmare.

All in all - go for the one on fleabay and enjoy the summer in it. You will probably want to change things but just make a list and do it come the end of summer.
